[WP 3.1.3] Media Library stops working after upgrade

    Media Library stopped working after installing 3.1.3 security update. No thumbnails shown, but well known “No media attachments found.” message. Any help will be appreciated.

  • The requested urgency of my post above can be skipped, as we just solved this problem somehow primitively: we re-uploaded all the images (existent at FTP) through WP Media Library uploader. That’s it!
    However it’s very strange, that such a powerful tool as WP cannot synchronize the view of files at FTP and its own library. Moreover, WP even deletes files only from its library, but not from a server Uploads directory. The lack of directory structure (view and folderising) at the WP media library is also a huge handicap. Have anybody missed those options yet?
