WP 3.1 Screwed Up my Homepage

  • So my homepage at “whorangthebell.com” is only supposed to display posts in the “news” category, and anything classified as “sticky” will also be on the homepage. However, after 3.1, every single post now appears on the homepage. I assume its just a simple coding fix, but I’m not sure where to look.

    have you tried:
    reviewing: Troubleshooting WordPress 3.1 – Master List

    -deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to narrow down and possibly fix the problem. If the problem goes away, activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the culprit.

    -switching to the default theme (“twentyten”) for a moment by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes. The idea is to force WordPress to fall back to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.

    Yes, I’ve tried both and neither has done anything.

    Does your theme have a home.php template file?
