WP 2.8.6 – logging data error possible?

    Can I have a hint? When I look at my comment logs, it seems, that the comments of other users @ my blog, which I have edited (only because of optical problems of text lines and return tabs), make change the Internet Protocol Number to my temporary Internet Protocol Number in the comment log data. Is this correct or should it stay on the first? I just wonder if this is the default set up, where I can change it …

    any ideas? lil’ bit helpless … thank you

    more explanation: Somebody posts a comment and I sometimes correct the linebreaks because of the view on the site. after that, not the Internet Protokoll Number of the user but mine is suddently logged at admin comments page? It is curious. A friend of mine made me point to this by checking the comment lists and now it looks like I would have post the comments. But the email is still the users one. It is weird …

    can anybody help me with that?
