[WP 2.7 Request] Add an Image – Link Size

Hi!

I’d like to propose a change to inserting an image on a post.
Don’t get me wrong, i love the new version and admin tools, i just think there’s room for a little improvement.

When we are inserting an image from the gallery (regular WP gallery/not a plugin) we can choose a link URL, form “None”, “File URL” or “Post URL”.
I’d like to be able to choose wich file URL i want to link to.

Let me explain.
We can choose how to insert the image further below, as a “Thumbnail”, “Medium”, “Large” or “Full Size”.
However, we always link to the full sized image, wich makes me edit it in Photoshop before uploading, so i can have an opened size standard.
Sometimes it can be troublesome, as people who blog with me sometimes upload a screenshot of their Safari opened on a Mac, and it is usually bigger than expected.

Setting up my “Large” size in Settings>Media, I can achieve this kind of control, showing the thumbnail and clicking to a pre-determined size i configured on my blog.
Wich can be customized by any blogs using any layouts out there.
