WP 2.5 Internal server error (500) inserting images, saving posts

  • I just did a fresh install of WP 2.5, clean start with a DB. trying to insert images into a page, I get a 500 internal server error. I’m able to upload the image, but then trying to ‘insert into post’, I get the above error.

    I also get a 500 internal server error when editing a page (not posts) then clicking ‘save’, but only once the page has been published.

    I’ve gone through an almost identical install on another host, but I don’t get these problems. Any ideas?

    resolved my problem. firefox plugin issue.

    apparently, both these issues were caused by some combination firefox 2, Mac, firebug 1.05, web developer 1.1.5.

    Ooops.. I have the same problem in Firefox also in I.E.7.
    How do you fix it?
