WP 2.5 Comment problem

  • I made a post last week that nobody has responded to, I have a valid problem with wordpress 2.5 and cannot find a solution anywhere else, hopefully somebody will look into this and help out, please.

    I have installed the lastest version of wordpress and the latest version of askimet.

    Askimet flagged a post as spam and it was, I deleted it, however, my comment tab in the dashboard still has a “1” next to it. If I click it then it says “no messages found”.

    When I first login to admin it says:
    1 comment awaiting moderation
    +
    Akismet has protected your site from 1 spam comment already, but there’s nothing in your spam queue at the moment

    If I click the “1 comment awaiting moderation” it says the same as above “no messages found”

  • Please disable your browsers cache and tell if the erroneous behavior still occurs or not.

    Yes I have completely wiped the cache and this problem still occurs.

    Then some of your option values accidently got mixed up maybe. Have you tried to add a comment on your own and tested around a bit? Maybe this corrects after the next spam post or so.
