• Hello,

    I see that WP 2.1 now includes a tinyMCE config file. In this file I see the following:

    $mce_buttons = apply_filters('mce_buttons', array('bold', 'italic', 'strikethrough', 'separator', 'bullist', 'numlist', 'outdent', 'indent', 'separator', 'justifyleft', 'justifycenter', 'justifyright', 'separator', 'link', 'unlink', 'image', 'wp_more', 'separator', 'spellchecker', 'separator', 'wp_help', 'wp_adv_start', 'wp_adv', 'separator', 'formatselect', 'underline', 'justifyfull', 'forecolor', 'separator', 'pastetext', 'pasteword', 'separator', 'removeformat', 'cleanup', 'separator', 'charmap', 'separator', 'undo', 'redo', 'wp_adv_end'));

    Why is it that not all of these icons are actually appearing in my toolbar? Any resources on tinyMCE customization changes in WP 2.1?

  • I’m also curious about this everything between ‘wp_adv’ and ‘wp_adv_end’ does not appear is there an option that needs to be set somewhere?

    wp_adv_start and wp_adv_end both are indicators for an area on the toolbar that is hidden. you can toggle the visibility by pressing alt+shift+v (Firefox) respectively alt+v (InternetExplorer). wp_adv is a wordpress-specific button that is used for toggling. unforunately this button is included in this section. by writing it somewhere before wp_adv_start you get it out and it’s permanently visible. by deleting wp_adv_start and wp_adv_end all symbols are visible permanetly.

    Sorry for my English: it’s not my mother tongue. I alredy wrote this into a German forum (in German language of course – I’m better with it) but that is probably not helpful for you ;). But if it is you can look at https://forum.wordpress-deutschland.org/showpost.php?p=86416&postcount=14
