wp 2.0 installation

  • hi guys,

    I’m running a WP 1.5.2 installation on my server. I would like to fresh install the new WP 2.0 in a new directory.

    what would be the best way for me to import my entries from my WP1.5 that i dont want to use anymore?

    Can i just point WP 2.0 to the previous db?

  • A simple upgrade wouldn’t work for you?

    Edit. Oh, I see, you’d like it in a separate directory. Actually even that would be possible:
    upgrade
    re-name the directory (and modify the 2 URIs before that)
