This is not a new “help thread”, but I have to do it, anyway

1 – Hueman became one of top 10 free WP themes in less than a year

2 – Never saw such “high frequent” support forum as for Hueman, mostly based on volunteers (personally spent 2 months, could not resist + had time, now I only bump in occasionally), but still it grows

3- A lot of folks sharing knowledge for 1 simple reason (at least, IMHO)
    – Alex ( https://alxmedia.se/ ) shared ABSOLUTELY great Hueman theme for free (with features better than most “premium” WP themes) + support in first 6 months, later it kept on growing & rolling on… )

4- My thoughts were – OK, he is “open source guru”, let’s help him & Hueman theme (WP is also opensource thing – if someone succeeds, sometimes goes “premium” )

    And then I found out:

    – Anew (never used it) – was free, now – $43 – https://themeforest.net/item/anew-responsive-wordpress-tumblog-theme/10943632?ref=AlxMedia

    – New “Agnar” WP theme – $48 https://alxmedia.se/themes/agnar/ – wrong link to themeforest.net, btw ??

So, Alex – is Hueman next?
I’ll purchase it, if I have to – spent some time in modifications + time on this support forum

But what bothers me – why all that buzz – “GPL” & hugs & free ….
When after all – everything besides Hueman (suppose it’s next) ended as commercial product?
A good PR – have to admit it ??
All the best, it was nice idea – but after all, I’m out of it….

    Mike

  • Hueman is going to remain free ??

People who used Anew for free can continue to do so, but if they want updates or want to support my work, they can purchase it.

    Thanks for info Alex,

I haven’t changed my opinion regarding your work on Hueman (as mentioned above) – great.
But, also haven’t changed it regarding “open source” idea – some folks supported your work by via this forum, some via donations etc.

Suppose, that’s the way things has to go on.

    Best wishes (sincerely),

    Mike
