Wouldn't install and brought the admin down

Tried to install it on a site which only had 1 plugin installed (i.e. broken links checker).
It wouldn’t install. Instead, it gave me a server error and brought down the admin area of the site.
Only way to restore site was to destroy the plugin’s folder through FTP.
Pity. Looked tempting in theory.
