• We did not like the look of this plugin and when we uninstalled it, an annoying message displayed on the top-left of the page — on both the front and back ends of the site –stating, “Please install and activate Simplest Gallery plugin!”

We could not get rid of it and had to reinstall a backup of the site in order to be free from what felt like a hijacking.

However, this solution did not work for an associate whose site would not cleanly reinstall from a backup and he received the white-screen-of-death — which caused unnecessary wastes of time and effort to restore the site he was working on.

The mentioned message was not related to this plugin.
It is triggered by “Jquery Cycle Slideshow for SImplest Gallery”: since it is an addon for Simplest Gallery, it complains if you uninstall the main plugin first.

You should not install things if you don’t understand what you’re doing.

You could have posted the question in the support section, it would be easily solved in minutes.

I do realize that we posted in the wrong area. Therefore, for that, apologies.

We saw no reason to contact support since we did not like how anything looked after installing it.

You should look into what plugin, after being uninstalled, claims, ““Please install and activate Simplest Gallery plugin!” since when one searches for Simplest Gallery plugin, yours is what shows up.
