• Hi there,

There is lots to love about this plugin, many thanks for your effort on it.

However, I can’t get the plugin to use my existing search box in the way that SearchWP Live Ajax Search did. I’m using Divi btw which doesn’t seem to use the?searchform.php theme file you say this can piggy back onto.

So because of that, I need to find a way to centre the search box.
Also there doesn’t seem to be any options to change font size. The text is so tiny..

I don’t have the time to try and hack the CSS code for something so simple.

Would love it if you could add these features or provide the CSS to add this functionality. It would make me come back to it from SearchWP Live Ajax Search.

    Thanks
    David

    Hi,

Thank you for your suggestions – most of these are indeed only available in the paid version.

I will definitely add more and more customizations so that the available elements can be transformed a bit more dynamically.

The search box always adopts to the container, the best way to center it without any CSS is to place the search shortcode into a shortcode block (or any other) and set that to center position. This is always recommended, as there are many different ways on how each element is displayed on the screen via the display property, and therefore correct positioning should be done on the containers to avoid conflicts (like flex wrapping, issues with tabled and grid layouts).

Let me know if you need help with anything specific regarding the styling.

    All the best,
    Ernest
