Would like to leave out "Leave a reply"…

  • Does anyone know how to suppress the “Leave a reply” section on specific pages? I have some that don’t require comment and I’d like to just eliminate the option. Can’t find it so far.

  • if you want to do it on specific page then you got to use the is_page() tag to find out which page and disable the template code!

    for each page, you can enable/disable the comments –

    either in the dashboard, from ‘pages’ page – click ‘quick-edit’ below the page title in the list;

    or below the page editor, in ‘edit page’, there should be a ‘discussion’ field to enable/disable comments; if this is not there, click the ‘screen options’ tab near the top right, tick ‘discussion’, then scroll down again and make your setting is the ‘discussion’ area.
