would like Media Credit to display for Featured image

    Hello again pepe!

    Thanks for your work on this plugin! I’m experimenting with a new theme that can auto-display the featured image. I’ve noticed that when I only have the featured image displaying in my post, the Media Credit doesn’t display. If I insert the same image into my post, the Media Credit does display.

    The shortcode also does not work in that instance.

    Any thoughts? Would it be a big PIA to get the credit to show for a Featured Image.

    WordPress does not provide any standards for how themes should display featured images. Unfortunately, that means there is no way for the plugin to include the credit automatically for featured images. However, you can easily add a call to the_media_credit_html($post) to the relevant templates in your (child) theme.

    Just to let you know, version 3.0.0 tries to add the credit to featured images if the corresponding setting is enabled.
