Would like advice on picking out forum plugin and theme

  • Hello.
    I would like some professional advice on picking out a forum plugin and a WordPress theme for a website of mine. Though the front page is not managed by WordPress, I would like to integrate a blog and forums of sorts as a back page.

    Any opinions on themes that match the following website? (I can modify)

    I would prefer a forum software that is open source and free, and the code isn’t obfuscated. I’m asking more of an opinion if you have experience with a specific one.
