Hi there, I would like to know if using this plugin on a website where there are 2000 customers could slow the site by saving so much data, my goal is to know the customer who downloaded, and from which page.
I am not interested in their IP or browser, I have done a small test locally with 2 customers but I do not know how much this could affect this to take it to large scale, imagine that the 2000 customers download 7 files a day would be 14,000 records, imagine a week and a month or a year.
The way the post type records are viewed makes it more complicated to navigate, or information.

Hi, this really depends on your sever type resources and site configuration. However, you will only know if you give it a try. My suggestion is to try our plugin for a month and if you think it is slowing down your site then uninstall it.

    Kind regards.

But when I uninstall it, everything is deleted from the database, that is to say it leaves no trace, many times the plugins leave one or another file and folder. it would be necessary to test that is true, but I can’t imagine replacing more than 600 urls just to test it… wow.

It would be necessary to test on a smaller website.

I understand what you mean. Unfortunately I have never tested this myself and I don’t recall anyone else in this forum asking a question similar to yours. If you are concerned about data left behind after you delete the plugin, you can always use phpMyAdmin or something similar in your server to delete any table left behind from our plugin in your database. Alternative you can use a third party plugin to optimize your database. The following plugin is one of many found here in WordPress repository.

wow it would be an epic cleanup job, we currently have 40 plugins, a large and robust site, cleaning it up would take me this lifetime and the next, I’d rather not risk it.

And for the server is the least we have a dedicated server and 10 gbs of RAM 8 CPU. But to do what you say would be epic. Thanks, we can put in solved the answer.
