Hey @thewatcher2,
We’re very disappointed to read this, we don’t like seeing unsatisfied users. RSS Multi Importer was actually a clone of WP RSS Aggregator, as explained here. It was discontinued (most likely, never confirmed) because the developer could not support it for free, as you can understand.
Worthless is a strong word to use. There are plenty of uses for the core plugin alone (such as job listings, news headlines and many more) and as for its styling, you may modify it using some CSS as shown here. If you have any questions about this, feel free to post in the support forum.
Lastly, to continue with the point in the first paragraph, we have many features as paid add-ons as a way to support their development as well as their support. It is impossible to run such feature-rich plugins for free, which is why we opted for the paid add-ons a few years back. It has been very successful in helping us maintain the plugins throughout the years, which is the only way to keep them alive and available to users like yourself. It also allows us to run our support team, which we are very proud of as being one of our biggest assets (as is also proven by the many reviews praising it).
We do hope you see the value in a $30 extension (which includes a 30% renewal discount) when you consider the value it will add to your site. It is a small investment that can go a long way while also supporting the development and maintenance of the plugins themselves.
We’ll be more than happy to help you find the add-ons you need and to explain what benefit they can add to your site. You’re more than welcome to contact us here.
