• I couldn’t tell whether Ultimate Branding or Theme My Login had placeholders (which I prefer to labels), so gave Loginstyle a try.

Loginstyle is really easy to use. I had installed Super Socializer first, and was concerned when the social login icons disappeared after I started styling with Loginstyle. But the social login icons came back with just resaving my Super Socializer settings. So now I can have my cake, and eat it too.

The only glitch I found was that the checkbox to not show the label for “User name or email” seems to have no effect. However, it should be easy to hide that label using css. I did not try out any of the included templates to see whether they are fixed, or whether they can be used as a starting point and tweaked.

Although at the time of this review the plugin has not been updated for over a year, it seems to work just fine with WordPress 4.8. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of customizations — background, form, even placeholder colors, and transparency settings for all the colors is included.

There is a place on the last settings tab to include custom css, which is nice as I have to much css in my child theme’s style.css file as it is.

This is going to be one of my “must have” plugins.
