There is no built-in support for Buddypress. However, Gator Cache will not cache pages for logged-in users so it should at least be compatible.

The “best cache plugin available on WordPress” is rather subjective. The only way you can see if it’s the best fit for you is to try it. I’d say it’s one of the most user-friendly and better coded plugins available.

The main feature of GatorCache is that it’s easy to manage. There’s no garbage collecting and other settings to worry about. It automatically refreshes or deletes the cache for posts automatically when they are updated or when comments are approved, so you don’t have to manually purge all the time. And, by request, it’s also compatible with a number of other plugins.

Alright thank you, do you recommend using any other plugins to better improve page load time combined with your plugin?

The performance bottleneck will most always be the backend php (WordPress and plugins) required to generate your content. Once you pages are served from a cache, you’ll be looking at a pretty significant gain. Beyond this, there are a few on-page things you can do such as combining css and/or js — but these won’t usually have that much of a perceivable effect upon the performance. There are plugins available for these things and some might be added as features to Gator Cache the future.
