    Hi,

    thanks for a great plugin.

However, it stops working (= the menu simply shows nothing) as soon as there’s more than 1 post in the category.

    Any advice? THX
    Dorian

    Hi Dorian,

well, that’s odd, especially since that’s the whole point of the plugin ?? Let’s see if we can figure out what happens.

    Could you please:

    • Disable all WordPress plugins except mine
    • Install and activate the Twenty Twenty-One theme
    • Create a new Category “Category A”
    • Create a new Post “Post 1”
    • Via Appearance > Menus, add Category A to the menu
    • Check the checkbox and set no other values
    • Set the menu as primary and save it

Could you tell me if that works?

    Kind regards,
    Diana

Maybe some more info is helpful: the website uses Salient theme and it happens in the first as well as the second menu level

A theme called “Salient” does not exist in the www.remarpro.com themes directory, which probably means it’s a paid theme. I can’t provide support on paid themes. Can you reproduce the issue with the “Twenty Twenty-One” theme? Please see my reply above.

    Hi Diana,

ok understood, yes Salient is a paid theme.

It does work with Twenty Twenty-One theme with the steps you described.

    Cheers,
    Dorian

    Hi Dorian,

in that case, the Salient theme probably also makes changes to the menu structure. This usually shouldn’t cause problems, but there could be a conflict if Salient theme builds a menu structure that does not contain the data my CPCM plugin needs in order to do its work. You could consider opening a support ticket with the Salient team developers, hopefully they’re willing to look into it.

    Kind regards,
    Diana
