    That is a bug pertains to bbPress and isn’t related to this plugin.

    It will be addressed in the upcoming bbPress 2.3.2.

    Yes, after posting this I looked at the plugin code and realized it couldn’t be responsible. I posted over on bbpress.org and I received a reply that also stated it would be addressed in 2.3.2.
