• This does require you to do some of the lifting, but it tells you how in both text and video – in simple step by step terms. It then deals with creating your request on LetsEncrypt (an organization that promotes SSL) and you get an email with your certs. You go back into the plugin and follow the instructions to install (or replace) the certificate for your site then click the button to activate the certs. If you then log out and log back in again, the padlock is there and you are good to go. You will have to redo this every 90 days since LetsEncrypt wants you to keep your SSL fresh – but it is easy. I did get some errors when I clicked on the setup link from the Plugins page, but when I used the admin menu normally, everything works great.
