• I noticed this plugin only uses facebook to authenticate the person and uses default wordpress commenting system which in turn stores the comments to the wordpress database instead of loading the facebook comments iframe like other plugins do, this is a much better approach and better for seo etc, but I was wondering if it could also pull in the facebook profile picture somehow (this does not work for me if its supposed to do) instead it shows the generic wordpress mystery man avatar? Also would it not be possible to trigger the comment to post to the users timeline as well as my website?

  • I’m facing the same issue, plus I tried commenting using facebook to see how it works. When you comment and hit reply it takes you to an error page asking the user to fill in the email and website (optional) only the name field is populated.

So basically my facebook comments are dropping ?? Hope this is resolved if you need any testing support do let me know. Thanks

We’re aware that the Facebook avatar isn’t pulling in like it should and we’re looking into it.

We’re always looking for folks to help us work on the plugin as a contributor. If you’re interested, jump in on the conversation on Github. We can add you as a contributor – just let us know if you’re interested.
