• This plugin was great for getting an auction up quickly! Appreciate the work put into it, and i would have upgraded to Pro if it wasn’t for the following. If you’re a technical person take note.

    Ultimate Auctions is not coded to proper conventions/standards;
    – Styles are applied via javascript instead of a style sheet file – css file. This makes it incredibly annoying to modify any part of the style/appearance.
    – Settings interface is not intuitive.
    – You’re limited to 4 photos. Seems photo’s might of been an after thought.
    – There is a setting to notify someone for each bid, however no settings for whom to notify when auction is over. I’m going to assume it’s the “user” who created it?

    So unfortunately the coding budget wasn’t there for this plugin. Instead of going Pro we’ll be writing our own.

    Don’t go cheap on coding people!

    On the 4 images limit, I think that you have missed the ‘Add more images’ link on the add auction page where you can add multiple images more to your listing.

    @bushstar that isn’t on the FREE version. It’s a Pro feature.
