It seems that in some updates more acf support gets added, but there is a large list of unsupported fields still to be added. That being said, (currently) this lack of 100% support does prohibit me from using it in this specific situation.

If the plugin only works as desired some of the time for a majority of the frequently used custom fields in my development flow then it is just not applicable to me.

And I simply can’t afford to write custom code every time a field isn’t supported beyond simple column viewing with the end goal to save time. So, I am now back where I started having to manually edit tons of posts because the specific field doesn’t have “quick/edit” functionality in a plugin named “ACF Quick Edit Fields”.

It’s a shame because this plugin is halfway to perfect and I am sure people would pay for this time-saving functionality if all of ACF was 100% supported.

@jricesystemsinsight Thanks for the review but please keep it to your words here only. No links or links to images. That’s not permitted in reviews and I have removed yours.

Sure, but the links included were from the plugin creator’s own resources located on Github? Which, I should add were part of my review, considering that would have helped me make a decision before downloading the plugin.

Sidenote: If links are not permitted, WordPress should remove the “link” button. Yeah?

No where? You don’t; links are not allowed in reviews because they’ve been abused in the past to an extreme degree.

Keep your review to your words and here. You do not need any links to share your feedback.

That would require a customization of the basic post editor used by all the sections of this site and this does not come up enough times to justify that. When it happens a note is left asking the reviewer to not leave links. As I’ve done.
