Works on posts but not pages

I’m not sure why this happens. I’m just getting under way with this theme and beginning to load content. I was looking for a simple responsive slider for the home page. I’ve gone through all of the settings. Toggled things on and off throughout, but for some reason, it will not display on pages. On posts, the slider works fine. I started going through the various setting and display options, and it works and looks great. Pages, not so much.
I’m using a Portfolio Press theme that has plugins for a content framework and portfolio display. Wonder if that is the conflict?
