    I am getting Google Page Speed recommendations to leverage browser cache and a number of other things.

    I have found recommendations to edit the .htacess with cache code.

    I did that but it was not recognized.

    Does this plug in redirect .htaccess some how? I can’t walk away from the 301 redirect – it is working perfectly (slight delay yes – but thus far no loss in organic positioning with Google).

    Any ideas? Recommendations? Thanks in advance for your help. I am careful to not just plop in plugins having just recovered from a plug in that broke my site – mid day. Customer was NOT happy.
