• I love how simple this plugin is to use. After dragging posts into the new order, there was no save or submit function. I just assumed the changes would take. When I left the page and returned, the posts were back in their previous order, based on time and date.

The other problem I had is that I have 20-30 posts in each category. Even though I used admin screen options to reset the number of posts showing to 50 or 100, the plugin only allows 10 at a time to appear. So it’s impossible to drag posts from a subsequent page to a previous one…meaning post #11 can never be dragged off page 2.

    christoff,

Thank you for the time in using the plugin.

The plugin should show 50 posts at a time, with a minor offset, so that it is possible to drag posts from one screen to another.

Regarding the front-end, the plugin doesn’t automatically reorder posts on the front end. The plugin can “try” to do this for you if you go to Settings->Reorder and then visit the advanced settings.

The best long-term solution is to reorder the posts in the admin and have some code to display them in the frontend. Here are some examples we have come up with: https://github.com/ronalfy/reorder-posts/wiki/pre_get_posts
