Would you happen to have an example we could see?

I have posted the URL, please can you take a look? I think it might be a static map backup that is loading, however I cannot locate this in the HTML.

Hey. My apologies thyon. We must have posted within seconds, as I didn’t see the URL when I wrote my comment.

I think the best option is to set the map to hidden with CSS, then on $(document).ready() display the map. I’m not quite sure of an alternative.

I’ve got another solution, to have a overlay visible, and then hide that on document ready.

Another theme is using a special code to format the map on another client’s website, and there is no color flash? Any idea how they did that?

Of course I used the styling options, hence there was brown on my map. I had the code working with the glitch using the normal map function.

However I’ve copied the “mashup” code, but it doesn’t show the lat/long from the page?

This is for a contact us page. Your plugin can get a bit confusing on how to use.

How do I copy the correct code to extract the settings for the PAGE and show that in the mashup routine?

In other words what do I set the first ARRAY in the mashup to to extract the lat/long, and the description correctly from the PAGE?

I thought the mashup was to plot multiple posts on 1 map. So now I see the mashup routine DOESN’T have the color flash, but the normal routing DOES? Maybe I should just hardcode this as a Google Map Code manually. I’m not that skilled with wordpress, so now that’s another 2 hours of work to figure that all out.

I found the problem. You load a static map backup on line 353 in the Maps.php class. I just commented that line out and there isn’t a color flash, which is the static map that is loaded by default
