    The new paypal payments plugin works just great. Managed to upgrade from Paypal Checkout Gateway to the new Paypal Payments plugin within 2 minutes.
    The process was just effortless. It just asked to sign in to your paypal account and all settings were trasferred automatically the way the old plugin was setup.
    I dont understand what all the bad comments are about.

    Its not the upgrading process that this plugin is getting bad reviews, (well some are).
    It’s the fact that users were forced to shift to this plugin and then getting random issues like failed orders (customers not being able to pay), duplicate orders, etc.

    For now you may not experience any issue but eventually you will, (I hope not), and then dealing with customers that are not happy about it.
