Works for some payment gateways, not for others

  • It seems to work for Credit Card payment gateway. But for others, such as Paypal, Paypal Checkout and Amazon Payments, no transactions are tracked. If it can track all payment gateways, this would be a GREAT plugin.

  • Have you verified that your paypal account settings send the user back to a “thank you” / “order success” page after checkout?

    I believe it has to be set like that to trigger the tracking back on your site. Some users will close the browser before it can land back on the success page but most people do track thru, especially if you try yourself and go all the way through with it. Verify that you land back on your site. Should be tutorials online for this somewhere…

    Yes, I have Paypal send the user back to the custom thank-you page. Note that it is a custom thank you page, not the Woocommerce default order received page. Could that be the problem?

    Still, The transactions are not tracked and recorded in GA…
