• I’m very glad to see that this plugin works fine with WordPress 4.1. I was able to use a custom map easily (thanks to the Snazzy maps integration) but can’t figure out why my custom marker won’t show…

Anyway, this is the perfect plugin to use a custom google map on a WordPress site.

Hey glad you like it and thanks for the rating! Are you trying to upload a custom marker or create one? Right now, there’s no support for uploading marker images but that will be out soon!

Thanks for the answer. I used this fix from @anstrangel0ver and it worked fine.

what you can do is change the default image marker image that lies inside google-maps-builder\public\assets\img\default-marker.png. if you want custom marker for each location then you add img tag in the field Marker label data and making the default-marker.png image 1 X 1px.

@missbrucelee you are welcome again ??

@dlocc it not a heavy coding there to make a custom marker. as far as i look the code you can add a image upload field and use the image for that ??

    happy coding!

    Hi Team,

I have made the default-marker.png as 1×1 px. I added the <img src=”URL” /> in the Marker label Data field. I got the new marker image. But I have the same old custom image alos in the map. Please let me know what mistake I did.

Help me on this. Great thanks

I am using WordPress 4.1 and Google Maps Builder 1.0.3

    1) This thread is a review. Please open a Support ticket instead
    2) We’ll be incorporating custom markers into the core plugin in an upcoming version. @anstrangel0ver’s workaround should work, but we can’t provide support for that. Once our core functionality is updated we’ll help all we can.
