• This plugin works, but you get advertisement/Huzzaz text if you don’t pay the 5$ a month for ‘pro’.

I wish plugins like this would put a disclaimer on the screenshots if they’re going to showcase the pro version of the product..

We do not put any advertisements in the free version of the plugin. We don’t get paid by anybody to place advertisements anywhere in our plugin. In the free version, there is a small “powered by Huzzaz” line at the very bottom of the video gallery that shows who built and designed the video gallery. Artists and designers commonly put their name or company within their work, themes, and designs to show who made it…

I wish reviewers were not allowed to leave low star ratings for false claims…

    False claims?
‘powered by Huzzaz’ is a form of advertisement and it is what I was referring to. I want to let the other members know that they will not get what they see in the screenshot section if they just download the plugin. They are required to pay $5 a month to get what is shown.

Furthermore, It is also common for plugins to have a disclaimer when showcasing PRO features in the screenshot section.

I think you are mixing up the definition of advertisement and attribution.

An advertisement is a paid announcement to sell a good or service. Nobody is getting paid in this scenario. We are not advertising anything to sell. Attribution is giving credit to a design or work of art.

    advertisement
a notice or announcement in a public medium promoting a product, service, or event or publicizing a job vacancy.

We are attributing the video gallery design and functionality to Huzzaz…

I think it’s a lost cause to convince you the difference between attribution and advertisement.

Anyway…I hope you enjoy Huzzaz despite the fact that the free version of our video gallery embed has a small line at the bottom that says we made it.

    Have a great day!

If you are paying for Huzzaz Pro, you can remove the link. Go to the Huzzaz Pro settings page by going to Huzzaz, clicking the Huzzaz icon in the top left corner to open the menu, click on “Huzzaz Pro”, select the option to turn off the Huzzaz link and then save the settings.

If you have any additional questions about this, let me know and I’ll be happy to help.

Thanks for the hasty reply. Although I feel like you should be redirected to your profile page after subscribing, I figured that out myself.
