Works as advertised

This plugin does exactly what it says it will do: Allows you to set an expiration date to posts and when that date passes, it will add the word “Expired” to the beginning of the post title.

It also has a few shortcodes you can use to show expiration information within a post, and a sidebar widget that lets you display posts that are expiring soon. I haven’t used either of those yet.
