Works!

  • It worked perfectly on a small site. Fast and easy! But it doesn’t work on a large website with a huge library. It would be awesome if there was a way to break up the download by date like with the WordPress export tool so the images could be exported in chunks.

    Hey Sue,

    Thanks for a great review! Can you give me an estimate on how large was the library that you tried to download, but it didn’t work? At what point would it fail? I’ve been able to download about 500MB without any problems, but you’re right, maybe for libraries of more than 1GB it should be broken up into multiple downloads.

    Hi Andrej:

    My client was doing the work so I’m not sure at what point the export was failing. There are over 1800 images in the library. The last full backup I took of the site was 1.12 GB, if that helps at all.
