    Correct if I’m wrong, but this plugin relies on jQuery to work, right?

    Do you plan to make it work with vanilla JavaScript?

    Yes it requires jQuery.

    No, no intention of making it work with vanilla JavaScript. Too much effort, no real benefit in changing it.
