Working with topics

Hi there guys again….
I am working on a site and i’ve created “Categories”.
The thing is that i wan also to create “Topics” (e.g.: I want to make page for only the news related to the “flight 370”, tagged as “flight 370” in one topic page called “Missing Airplane” and to put there news that are on different categories like “US News” or “World News” or “Asia News”)

Is that alright? Can I do that?
