Working with ratings in WPMU/MS

  • Im trying to figure out how the best way to implement your rating system would be if Im using wordpress multi site with the sitewide tags plugin. I pull in posts from the site wide tags and display them on the main site. I would like the ratings to work from both the main site and from the sub blogs.

    Im thinking I need to network activate the plugin and insert the template tag for the rating system within the sub blogs theme, but how do I get the ratings system to work with posts on the main site from sub blogs? Will I need to modify your plugin to get it to except a blog id variable?

    I have managed to update the plugin to handle the scenario of multi-site and allowing me to make a rating on a post from a sub blog on the main site or within a sub blog.

    If you or anyone else is interested please let me know. I have heavily tailored the plugin to work specifically with my installation, but I may be able to update as a more general plugin if anyone has a serious need for it.
