    Hi,

I wanted to test out your plugin so I’ve installed it on 3 of my websites. They are all using Cloudflare and iThemes security plugin.

Currently your plugin is not blocking / reporting anything, so I have 2 questions.

    1. Could this be related to Cloudflare?
    2. Or is it simply because iThemes is effectively blocking the bots?

    Thanks!

    Glad to help:

    1) As far as I know, Blackhole works fine with Clodflare. The only type of caching that causes a problem is page caching. Here is a post with more infos.

    2) It could be that something else is blocking the bots. Or it could be any number of reasons listed here (under the section titled “Why no bots?”).

If in doubt, it always is possible to test your setup. You can find the basic steps to do so under the section “Testing” on this page. And from there you will find a link to even further testing steps.

I hope this helps, let me know if any further questions, feedback, etc.

UPDATE: Your plugin is successfully blocking bots on all the websites I installed it on!

It seems that iThemes is blocking most of the bots but if their plugin fails, yours gets the job done.
