Working with custom load more button

Hi, and thanks for this useful plugin.

For my archive page, I’d like to show 9 posts with a “load more” button underneath. I’ve implemented the filter and this works fine for selecting post categories.

For the load more button, I’ve used something similar to the code described here. This does work, but doesn’t take into account any active filters. Hence, posts from all categories are loaded instead of only the active filter.

Is there a way to implement the active filter into a query so that this information is taken into account when the load more button is pressed?
