    Hi Raul,
yes, that’s a funny effect. I assume it has to do with the theme, but I’ll give you more details a bit later.

    Ok, thanks.

    I try to investigate too.

If it helps the theme is enfold theme (https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990)

The Enfold theme has a sort of a “hover effect for images”. Everytime the mouse gets on top of the image it ads this code after the <img>:

    <span class=”image-overlay overlay-type-image” style=”left: 0px; top: 5px; overflow: hidden; height: 601px; width: 411px;”><span class=”image-overlay-inside”></span></span>

    (added from enfold/js/avia.js file)

This lets the WP Image Zoooom plugin understand the image size to be smaller (width 100px, height 100px) and that’s why there is that funny effect of it working only in the upper-left corner of the image.

I’m sorry Raul, apparently the WP Image Zoooom plugin is not compatible with the theme and I cannot do anything about it. I don’t see any way of turning the theme’s feature off, nor any way to overcome this overlay that messes up with the WP Image Zoooom.

But please let me know if you manage to make the theme work with other similar image zoom plugins. That might help me find a solution, if there is one.

    Thanks for the response.

I check all the zoom plugins and the only one that i find it works is this:

    Hope it helps.

Let me know if it will be possible to use your plugin at some time…i like it more.

I think I might’ve found a solution for this funny effect you were having.

Could you please download the 1.0.4 version and see if that works for you?

    Thread Starter raulbofill

    (@raulbofill)

    Now it works perfectly!!

    Thanks for your work.

    Great ??

Please don’t forget to rate the plugin.

    Just subscribing…

Trying to get Enfold working with WP Image Zoooom, the best zoom plugin for WordPress I’ve come around! ??

Here’s a page where I’m trying get some things to work:
    https://lvw.marcbijl.nl/portfolio-item/bambatta-1/

There are 3 images (in all cases I’m using the Enfold Avia Theme-/Layoutbuilder):

1 – Image inserted as media element in a text block
2 – Image dragged/dropped as media element into a layout element (column)
3 – Image as part of a slideshow

Unfortunately I can’t get WP Image Zoooom working. I’ve also tried:

    – Unchecking “Lightbox Modal Window” in “Enfold Theme Options” menu
    – Adding .image-overlay { display: none !important; } to the css

Any ideas what I can do more?

I understand @raulbofill got the whole thing working? How did you insert the image (media element)? Should I probably turn off the Enfold Avia Theme-/Layout builder?

    Thnx in advance!

    Hi Marc,

Hi Diana, thnx for the quick reply!
    Looking forward…

    Hi Marc,

the plugin is working on Enfold theme, but only with the WooCommerce images. Everything that has to do with the portfolio images I’ve put in the pro version.

I’ve sent you an email with a 25% off coupon for the pro version, if that helps.

    Best regards,
    Diana Burduja

Hi Diana, that’s a pity… And does it work on pages or blog posts?

I’ve seen your e-mail with the discount code, thnx! I’ll think about it, because my client only has a small budget…

What is the reason it does work for WooCommerce products, and it doesn’t for portfolio images?

    Cheers,
    Marc

The reason for making the support for the portfolio images only in the PRO version is because each theme implements that a bit differently. Adapting that to each theme will quickly fill a lot of my time.

The free version has all of the functionality, but I only try to keep it bug free, no adaptations.
