    Hello,

I have a question about workflows.

I have activated them but they do not act on users who were already registered on the site.
How is it possible to synchronize users so that the workflow works on them?

Thank you very much for your help.

    Hello,

    Did you get my application?

I can contact you by email if needed.

Thank you for your precious help.

    Hello Jackman,

The workflow created using the User Create trigger imports contacts from new user registrations.

If you want to have existing users from your WordPress’ native user database, you can export them to your local computer and import back to Email Subscribers under Email Subscribers > Audience > Import Contacts. Please take a look at the articles linked below and let us know if you need any additional help. We’ll be happy to assist you.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your answer.

However, if I import current WP users into an audience, will the workflow work on them?

I’m having trouble explaining my request, and I’m using a translator, sorry.

What I want is that the workflow (modification and deletion of a user) will work on the former users of the site (before the workflow was activated).

    Do you understand?

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello Jackman,

Yes, we have three different Workflow triggers for WordPress users. So you can create a workflow to update the Email Subscribers list when a user details are updated and another to remove from the subscribers list when he is deleted from the WordPress user database. And yes, it works regardless the time of user creation (even if the users are created much before ES activation or workflow generation).

Please note that the synchronization through Email Subscribers’ workflows is not two-way so changes made directly to the Email Subscribers will not be reflected in the WordPress user database.

Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to reply back to us.

    Hello,

    It’s me again,

I have a problem when importing contacts, the accents on the letters (é,è,ê,?,…) are not taken into account, can you please change this?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your answer.

In fact I found the problem, it’s because of my excel that doesn’t convert accents well, I used your sample file directly by modifying it to keep a file that works well.

    Thanks again!

    Hello,

I’ll get back to you, get some information on the workflow (edited).

When I modify the email address of a WP user, the email is not modified in audience.
However, for the first and last name, the edition works well.

How to fix this problem ?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi Jackman,

We are really sorry for the delay in our response.

We have tried to replicate the issue at our end but could not replicate it.

Also from your previous reply, it seems the issue has been resolved now. Can you please confirm if you are still facing the issue?

    Hello Jackman,

We’re wondering if you have had a chance to review our last email? Please let us know if the issue persists.

    Hello,

Let me explain: when I modify the email of a subscriber in “Audience
    > Edit Contact “, then his email is not modified in WP users, do you understand ?

It only works with the first and last name but not the email.

    Is it normal ?

Thank you very much and well to you

    Hello,

I have a little more information.

“Edit contact” works well on the email address, ONLY if the user has been added to the audience through the “add user” workflow.

On the other hand, if the audience was imported manually (not via the workflow) then it recognizes the first and last name, but the email is not recognized (editable) with the “edit contact” workflow.

    Do you understand? I don’t know if it’s accurate…

    good to you
