• Update.php had a warning but otherwise the plug in worked wonderfully. I’m not clear what the author suggest be done after such an operation. I just wanted to remove the two thousand “ping-back” crap comments that infected my site, then return to normal operations for a media campaign. So after the Purge, I went back to “remove comments” on my dash and debated about whether it was necessary to change the settings to “no.” I wondered if leaving them at “yes” meant that it would continuously purge new comments. Then I decided why have this plugin active at all, so I deactivated it.

I’m glad to keep the plugin installed for next time things get out of control.
