Worked Great!

I’m having permission issues on my server so I ftp’d 3 image files to the WordPress /uploads folder. ftp worked fine but WordPress wouldn’t display them in the Media library. Add From Server let me navigate to the correct folder on the server and then select (checkmark) the 3 individual image files to import. I was afraid that it would work only at the directory level and I’d end up a bunch of duplicates, but it added only the 3 files I wanted.

I love simple tools that do exactly they say they are going to do, nothing more and nothing less. Add From Server is my new favorite tool.
