    I used the bulk smush.it tool and it worked great. I love the smush report it generated.

    I did see this before I ran it: We found 15 images in your media library. Be forewarned, it will take at least 0 minutes to process all these images if they have never been smushed before.

    I found the “0 minutes” part interesting. I suppose that means it’ll take less than a minute?

    I would also recommend NOT leaving this plugin enabled and only using it when necessary. It adds queries to every page load – I’m unsure why.

    Query: SELECT option_value FROM nbwp_options WHERE option_name = ‘wp_smushit_smushit_auto’ LIMIT 1
    Call from: require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), require_once(‘wp-load.php’), require_once(‘wp-config.php’), require_once(‘wp-settings.php’), include_once(‘/plugins/wp-smushit/wp-smushit.php’), WpSmushit->__construct, get_option

    Hi @webnet,

    I hope you’re well today! ??

    Really sorry for the delayed reply here, but I did take a good moment and test this and am seeing that it does add a few queries on each page load. Not sure why it’d need to do that but I’ll run that by the developers.

    That can be disabled through Settings > Media, via the option:
    Use Smush.it on upload?

    Setting that to “Do not process on upload” will ensure the queries don’t get run on page loads.

    Of course, it is optimal to just keep it deactivated unless its being used, if possible.

    In any case, thanks for mentioning this. We’ll have a look with the developers on that and the initial item you mentioned, more of a simple usability concern when smushing takes less than a minute. ??

    Thanks!
    David
