Sorry to hear about your issues. This may be a bug with the button itself and not the WordPress plugin. I can reproduce your problem on my end, and I will investigate this today.

Thanks David, was pleasantly surprised by your quick response!
Tried all browsers and the same issue… also tried bouncing between wi-fi only and whispernet…

just occured to me now, had a similar situation with another plugin not working (wasn’t sending anything, just no functioning). After deactivating all plugins, save the problem, it worked. After reactiving a few at a time, it still worked once all the plugins were active (and still is)… Will give this a go to see what happens…

I just installed this plugin but can’t get it to work. I get a “sorry there has been an error” message when sending content to my Kindle for Mac, or Archive in Kindle library via WiFi.

Also Kindle plugin doesn’t display properly on this page: https://www.creativityatwork.com/blog/

Eg Blog posts excerpts look like this:
Send to KindleWhole Brain Thinking: Cultivate 21st Century Creativity

How do I remove “Send to Kindle” from excerpts, or at least create a space between “Send to Kindle” and title of blog?

    Thanks.

Hey Linda, I have tried checking out your blog, but it does not seem the button is turned on for visitors right now. If you could activate it again, I would be happy to troubleshoot your problems.

You might be able to fix your issue with extra text appearing in your excepts by going to the “Look and Feel” settings and unchecking “Home”. I will do some research into why it is displaying text and not a proper button. With respect to the error message, what browser and operating system were you using? This can help me reproduce your problem on my end.

Let me know if this helps!

Hi David, I activated the plugin again, and unchecked “Home”. It works. I tried sending post to Kindle and it worked too! Amazing! A file in Chrome for Mac OS 8.6 was corrupted the other day, and that might of had something to do with my problems sending file to Kindle.

    I do have another request:
The plugin displays the way I like it on this Page:
    https://www.creativityatwork.com/coaching-for-career-advancement/

But not this one..it looks awkward on this Post.
    https://www.creativityatwork.com/2012/11/19/whole-brain-thinking-cultivate-21st-century-creativity-and-leadership/
Is there a way to make it flush left?

The image in the first example was inserted in the main body of the edit section, and in the second example the image was entered in a “featured image” widget.

    Thanks!
