• Hi, I am testing the automatic translation on my website tofutante.de. I uploaded one post and now it says automatic translation in progress…and has bin showing that for a day now. If I click on the clock icon that is supposed to open the workbench, I get only an empty site that shows the grey background without any content. I tried it on chrome and on IE, but no success.     This is normal and expected behaviour if you are not logged into wordpress with the same email address as used to create the Lingotek account connection.

    Ultimately the main problem with this plug-in is Lingotek itself.
    Lingotek changes all the Polylang symbols from blue to orange, to indicate the polylang integration status, all find and good.

    However if you actually click on an orange tick you get a large grey blank window.
    Unless you happen to be logged onto WordPress with the same email address as used for the connection to Lingotek.
    This bamboozled me for a couple of months, since there was no error message and support were not readily able to help until we eventually clarified with Lingotek support that this is expected behaviour…!

    I retested this with recent updates and the behaviour hasn’t changed.

    We are working on fixing this so that you don’t have to be logged onto WordPress with the same email address as used for Lingotek.

    As far as your translation being stuck on the clock icon you can try to “Update the translation status” manually. If that doesn’t work try to “Disassociate from Lingotek” and re-upload your content.
