I have a client who is looking for an invoicing system.. however, they use Braintree for payments.. Is there a way to integrate this invoicing plugin with Braintree?

Also, I saw the recurring billing feature, but I don’t see in notifications the option to send reminders such as maybe a week before an invoice is due and then another 3 days before or something like that. Is there an option to do that?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

A Braintree payment gateway is in the works. You might want to subscribe to our twitter account or the email newsletter to be notified when it’s released.

There currently isn’t an advanced notification scheduler in the works but it’s been requested before and is on the list of future features for the paid version of Sprout Invoices.

If you’re familiar with WP development I could help guide you to build something manual (e.g. what filters/hooks to use), since it would be a lot easier to build something for your use cases than something dynamic.

Oh that’s great! Is there any idea of when the Braintree feature might be available.. a ballpark.. just so I can have an idea on what to tell the client. I will also subscribe.

For the notification scheduler, yes I will defintely touch base with you to see if you could point me in the right direction.. to get something like that working. I have set up email notifications via php in the past on a published post, so hopefully it would work similarly. When the time comes, I will post a new support thread.

Braintree will be at least 4 weeks away because of our current development schedule. To be honest very little has been completed and it’s about 20% complete.

Since they provide a few different types of integrations: why and how do you want to use Braintree? Seems like you could get the same out of using PayPal and PayPal Pro, both of which allow for recurring payments (something the BT integration might not have in v1.0).

Braintree has been pushed back a bit more. Let me know how you’d want to use BT in the meantime.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up. My client chose Braintree.. basically because of the cost. We are not building the site yet and we haven’t used the Sprout plugin yet, so if it comes up and we need to integrate the two.. I will get back in touch. Thanks for your quick replies!
