Words running together

    I’m hoping you can help me with what seems to be a minor problem.
    First of all I’d like to say that I love the plugin and it’s working really well in general.
    However, on occassions the tooltip seems to make two words run together that weren’t that way previous to adding the Word to the glossary. The strange thing is that it doesn’t cause this running-together of words on all instances of that word.

    Here is an example to illustrate the problem:
    -previous to adding a word to tooltipy: ‘The only thing you need is motivation’
    – after adding the Word motivation to tooltipy: ‘The only thing you need ismotivation’
    –The words ‘is’ and ‘motivation run together’.

    Hi Agustin,
    thank you for appreciating our plugin Tooltipy

    I’m not sure what is wrong with spaces between keywords but you could insert this CSS code in your syle.css or on your custom css stylesheet to fix that problem :

    .tooltipy-kw {
    margin-right: 2px;
}

    Change 2px depending on your need

    Please try it out and tell us if it helps.

    Thanks very much for your response.
    Unfortunately, it hasn’t solved the issue. Can you recommend something else, please?

    Additionally, I’m having problems with tooltipy on ipads. After revealing the definition, there is no way of removing the window. There is no ‘X’ to close the window and even if you press elsewhere on the screen the window stays there.

    I would be very grateful for you help with this issue too.

    Thanks for your swift reply.
    I have tried the website you suggested on my iPad. I can manage to close the Windows, but only if I touch a blank space (on the right of the list of keywords on the page), and not if I touch an area of text.

    This doesn’t only happen on my iPad. It happens on the other ones that I have tried.

    Hello Jamel,

    I’m also having an issue where words run together. Check out this page on “Day 2”.

    In some instances, the words to the left and right are running together i.e. “inspired design of the Bahai Gardens on” is coming out “inspired design of theBahai Gardenson”.

    And I can’t just add a generic style, because if there is a comma, then then it will add a space between the tooltip and the comma, like this ,.

    Any ideas on what to do? I think maybe the strong tags are messing something up, but it doesn’t do it for every strong tag. For example, it’s not messing up for the keyword Caesarea on that linked page, only for the ones below.
