Wordprss Sitemap Reports Robots.txt erros

I have tried every solution but every since I did the upgrade my sitemaps no longer work. There has to have been a hidden robots.txt file because I have never had this problem

I even went as far as deactivating the google plugin and creating my own sitemap…still does not work and says that googe can not access this.

I have seen other complaints of this from others who have said the same things and I am posting because their questions went unanswered.

how do I fix this
